Crystal Lantz
7th & 8th Grade Teacher
Crystal Lantz is joining the CCS Team this year and we're so excited!
meghan greiner
Mrs. Greiner began teaching at CCS in 2016 when she took on the role of the 1st and 2nd-grade teacher. Since then she has moved into our 5th and 5th-grade classroom, which she is so excited about. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornerstone University. Mrs. Greiner is married to her husband, Robert Greiner, and has three wonderful children. Their oldest, Jacob, and their twins, Emma and Nicholas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, reading a good book, and sipping on a hot cup of coffee. She and her family attend Radiant Church in Ludington.

3rd and 4th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Buter was one of the original board members of CCS when it first opened in 1997 and has been a teacher here since 2008. She received her education from Ferris State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Buter and her husband, Brian Buter, have three children, Eric, Caryn, and Karl (and Kellia). In addition, they have three beautiful grandchildren. Mrs. Buter is a member of Mason County Reformed Church and enjoys camping, kayaking, and reading in her free time.

Mykila Althouse
1st and 2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Althouse joined out staff this year as the first and second-grade teacher. Her previous employment at the school was as our physical education teacher; we're thrilled to have her back. She has three children, one of whom still attends Covenant Christian School. Her husband, Joe, and herself attend Path of Life Church.

Early Childhood Program Director
Mrs. Tyndall joined us at CCS in 2013 as the Art Teacher. She has a Bachelor in Business from Ferris State University and a Bachelor in Early Childhood Development from Ferris. She and her husband, Mike Tyndall, live in Car Settlement with their three boys Eli, Henry, and George. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her very energetic boys, hiking, camping, fishing, and going to the beach. Mrs. Tyndall currently attends Evergreen Covenant Church.
jody dickinson
Pre-Primary Class Teacher
Mrs. Dickinson is our morning Pre-Primary lead teacher. She has a bachelor's in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters from Western University in Counseling. She and her husband, Scott live here in Ludington with their three children Lilly, Brian, and Maxwell. Mrs. Dickinson loves to be outside with her kids. She also enjoys working with wood and taking care of her flowers and garden. Mrs. Dickinson and her family currently attend Trinity Evangelical Free Church here in Ludington.
Jodi Mortensen
Pre-Primary Class Teacher
Mrs. Mortensen is joining this year as our afternoon Pre-Primary Class Lead Teacher. She and her husband, Chad live here in Ludington with their two children Anna and Jacob.
Rich Ambrose
Director & Administrator
Mr. Ambrose has been at Covenant Christian School since the 1999/2000 school year and fills the role of both 7th and 8th-grade teacher, as well as the school principal/administrator. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in History & Administration. Mr. A. taught in the Zeeland Public Schools for 10 years and was the Youth Pastor at Mason County Reformed Church before finally joining the CCS team. He is married to Kim Ambrose and has four boys, Elliott, Ethan, Dakota, and Kenny. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisher. Their family currently attends Pioneer Church.

Mrs. Ford has worked at CCS since 2017 as the Music teacher. She loves teaching music and is a member of Living Word Church in Ludington, MI.
Rachel swift
Staters Program Assistant
Miss Rachel joined our staff this year as our Starters Program Assistant. She is newly married and newly moved to Ludington. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and is currently attending Trinty Evangelical Free Church with her new husband, Josh.
