Meet the Staff
All of the teaching staff at Covenant Christian School is a certified teacher and has a valid, current teaching certificate through the state of Michigan
7th and 8th Grade Teacher and School Director
Mr. Ambrose has been at Covenant Christian School since the 1999/2000 school year and fills the role of both 7th and 8th-grade teacher, as well as the school principal/administrator. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in History & Administration. Mr. A. taught in the Zeeland Public Schools for 10 years and was the Youth Pastor at Mason County Reformed Church before finally joining the CCS team. He is married to Kim Ambrose and has four boys, Elliott, Ethan, Dakota, and Kenny. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisher. Their family currently attends Pioneer Church.
Mrs. Greiner began teaching at CCS in 2016 when she took on the role of the 1st and 2nd-grade teacher. Since then she has moved into our 5th and 5th grade classroom, which she is so excited for. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornerstone University. Mrs. Greiner is married to her husband, Robert Greiner and three wonderful child. Their oldest, Jacob and their twins, Emma and Nicholas. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, reading a good book, and sipping on a hot cup of coffee. Her and her family attend Radiant Church in Ludington.

Mrs. Buter was one of the original board members of CCS when it first opened in 1997 and has been a teacher here since 2008. She received her education from Ferris State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Buter and her husband, Brian Buter, have three children, Eric, Caryn, and Karl (and Kellia). In addition, they have three beautiful grandchildren. Mrs. Buter is a member of Mason County Reformed Church and enjoys camping, kayaking, and reading in her free time.

Mrs. Tyndall joined us at CCS in 2013 as the Art Teacher. She has a Bachelors in Business from Ferris State University and a Bachelors in Early Childhood Development from Ferris. Her and her husband, Mike Tyndall, live in Car Settlement with their three boys Eli, Henry, and George. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her very energetic boys, hiking, camping, fishing, and going to the beach. Mrs. Tyndall currently attends Evergreen Covenant Church.
Mrs. Bongard joined us at CCS in 2015. She has Bachelors in Early Elementary Education and a Masters in Learning Disabilities from Central Michigan University. She also has a Special Education Supervisors Approval from Grand Valley State University. Before joining us at CCS she taught in five public school districts around Michigan and Kentucky and retired from the West Shore ESD where she served as a teacher consultant and classroom principal. In her free time, she enjoys walking, cooking and baking, reading, and spending time with her four adult children and their families. Mrs. Bongard is currently attending Trinity Evangelical Free Church.
Miss Tess began at CCS in the fall of 2013. She graduated from Davenport University with a degree in Medical Assisting and Office Administration. Before coming to CCS, she worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Leikert of Ludington, MI. She was born in Carr Settlement, MI and, upon getting married in August of 2013 to Elliott Ambrose, she moved to Ludington. Miss Tess and her husband have no kids yet, but are excited to have a family in the future!In her free time, she likes to spend time with her friends and family, go on walks in the State Park, go to the beach (when Michigan allows it), cross country ski, and enjoys drinking a good cup of dark coffee. She currently attends Pioneer Church.
Mrs. Anderson became Covenant Christian School's Librarian in 2013. She attended the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit before marrying her husband, Mike Anderson. She and Mike have three kids who attend CCS: Tovah, Lucian, and Ryan.Mrs. Anderson enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outside, and (of course) reading! She is is a member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church.
Ms. Easley has worked at CCS since 2017 as the Spanish teacher. She loves teaching Spanish and is a member of Trinity Evangelical Free in Ludington, MI.
Mrs. Ford has worked at CCS since 2017 as the Music teacher. She loves teaching music and is a member of Living Word Church in Ludington, MI.
